3 Islands Tour

This tour is ideal for exploring the surroundings of Holbox Island on a peaceful boat trip across the Yalahau lagoon.

During this tour you will visit three points of interest near Holbox.

The first is Yalahau (which gives its name to the whole lagoon, in ancient Maya means Eye of Water), a mysterious source of pure and fresh water fed by underground rivers and cenotes. Here you can take a refreshing dip and enjoy a spectacular view of the tropical jungle from above the characteristic wooden mirador.
The second stop is Isla Pajaros (Birds Island), always a place favored by a huge variety of birds that come here to reproduce and nest. Depending on the season you can see pink flamingos, herons of all kinds, spoonbills, white pelicans, cormorants, frigates, gulls and many other species. A paradise for bird-watching lovers.
To end, the tour continues towards the tiny and romantic Isla Pasion (Passion Island), located near the western tip of Holbox, where you can look for shells on the beach or take a refreshing swim in the sea.

Very often and with a little luck we observe groups of dolphins, a little less often it is possible to sight some sea turtle.
