Our rooms are the two spacious Comfort Suites Armonia, the wide Exclusive Studio Alegria, the functional Double/Twin Room Amistad and the amazing Rooftop Suite Amor with the biggest private rooftop terrace on Holbox.
We are located in the quietest area of the island, far enough from the noisy town center and with a privileged location, at just 100 meters from the beach and less than 10 minutes walking from the main square.

The ISLAND of HOLBOX is located in the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico, facing the north-eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula,
precisely where the Gulf of Mexico joins the Caribbean Sea, about 12.0 km from the mainland.
Coming by plane, we recommend taking a flight to Cancun, possibly to Merida. To reach the island, one must first
arrive by land at the port of Chiquilá, about 2:00 hours from Cancun, and then take a ferry with a journey time of about 30:00 minutes.

WELCOME TO HOLBOX!
The Island of Holbox is a legendary sandbank with an extension of about 40.00 km in length to 1.50 km in width, known since the time of the ancient Maya and, later, the pirates of the Caribbean. It is located in the state of Quintana Roo, municipality of Lazaro Cardenas, facing the north-eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, about 12.0 kilometers from the mainland, exactly at the meeting point between the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, about 2:30 hours from the well known Cancun and Riviera Maya.
Most of the island's surface is still virgin beaches, hidden lagoons and mangrove forests. Travelers have discovered this little secret only in the 90s and fortunately still remains a destination unknown to mass tourism. Ideal for a holiday of relaxation, fishing or kiteboarding.
On the island there are restaurants of all kinds and for all budgets; there are internet services, telephone, pharmacy, village hospital, small shops (crafts, souvenirs, food, beach items, ...), a church and a shelter for wild animals. All the streets of the island are absolutely made of sand, it is mainly circulated on foot or by bike, there are no conventional cars, but only golf-carts and some motorbikes. Payments can be made in Mexican pesos or US dollars; it is advisable to bring sufficient cash, because there are no banks on the island; there is only one ATM, but with limited cash availability and credit cards are only accepted by a few establishments and with administrative costs. Holbox is a very quiet village where there is no crime and its inhabitants, less than 2,000 people, are all happy, relaxed and welcoming.
